Dr. Andrew Goff was an educator of children with disabilities for twelve years before transferring the knowledge and skills he developed as a teacher to his work as the coordinator and lead instructor in the early childhood education department at Colorado Northwestern Community College. He holds a bachelor’s in child psychology and a master’s in early childhood education/special education from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. He earned his doctorate in leadership for educational equity with an emphasis in early childhood special education from the University of Colorado Denver.
Andrew and his wife, Natalie are the proud parents of two daughters, Citlali and Itzel, and a dog, Ava. Every day, Andrew learns more about how to advocate for the inclusion of children with disabilities in society. Love Is a Classroom, his first book shares what he learned as a classroom teacher, but the lessons do not end with this story. Learning and sharing is a lifelong endeavor for him.
